The icon from the Festival tier. Against the background of the Lord’s Tomb basilica are depicted patriarch Macarius and the two deacons setting up the Cross. To the right are represented the emperor Constantine and his mother Helena, to the left – the people in the temple.

On the upper left margin is John the Evangelist on Pathmos Island with his disciple Prochorous. At the right upper corner is Matthew the Evangelist.
