Modest, Kirykos and Julitta, Sts.

Date: XVII century. Late 17th century

Origin: From the church commemorating Saint Nicholas (1673) in the village of Dimitrievo, Cherepovetskiy district, Novgorodskaya region (now Cherepovetskiy district, Vologodskaya region)

Material: Wood, tempera

Dimensions:  height 116 cm, width 92 cm

The icon shows large full-length depictions of St. Modest and St. Julitta Between them is the small figure of Julitta’s son – St. Kirykos holding a cross in his hands and facing Christ Pantocrator represented in the quadrant in the upper part of the icon.

Was deposited in 1978.
