The center of the composition depicts the Mother of God with the Divine Child on Her knees, nearby is the empty manger, the ox and the donkey bend over it. To the left are represented the Magi with the Gifts, to the right is the shepherd listening to the angel’s annunciation. In the upper right corner is shown Bethlehem. In the lower part of the composition is Joseph talking to the shepherd and the scene of Washing the Divine Child.
