In the centre of the icon is the waist-length depiction of the Mother of God, Her hands spread apart. On Her chest is a half-figure of Christ Emmanuel Whose hands are raised in a two hand blessing of archiereus. Above Mary’s hands are shown the seraph and the cherub.
