Origin: The provenance is unknown. Was kept as the icon of the same tier “Nativity” (№ПКМ1452) in the Old Believers’ religious grouping meeting-room in the house of merchant P.D.Batov in Pskov
Material: Wood, canvas, levkas, tempera
Dimensions: height 47 cm, width 32 cm
The centre of the composition shows the Mother of God surrounded by twelve apostles and above them in the round mandorla being held by the two angels is depicted Christ.
