In the left part of the icon is shown the pink wall of the “town of Moscow” behind which the three dome white temple with the gables can be seen (the Dormition temple). In the wide arc of the city wall tower appears religious procession headed by a member of higher orders of clergy (metropolitan or patriarch) attired in the green sakkos decorated with the crosses and in the white omophorion, his head crowned with miter. To his right and to his left stand the young men attired in white clothes, holding the candles in their hands. The metropolitan is escorted by the clergymen – all attired in white clothes, some of them wearing black klobuks on their heads. They carry the shoulder-length image of the Savior (resembling the honored images of Christ from the Dormition cathedral), the processional cross, the Gospel book and the shoulder-length image of Our Lady – the wonderworking “Our Lady of Petrovsk” which was the essential attribute of religious processions in the 17th century. To the left against the dark green mountain is depicted a group consisting of people of high society in the rich clothing, in the fur coats with the long sleeves. This group is headed by the prince (tsar) with the cap on his head. In the center of the icon are represented two clergymen attired in white clothes looking to the right and facing the group of people leaving the town, they hold the wonderworking icon “Our Lady of Vladimir” being censed by the metropolitan.
