Origin: From the Church of the Ascension and the Prophet Elijah, the Ilyinsky Pogost on Lake Vodlozero, Pudozhsky district, the Republic of Karelia.

Material: Wood, tempera

Dimensions:  height 118,8 cm, width 101,8 cm

In the center is the scene of the Fiery Ascent of the Prophet Elijah and the appearance of the angel to the prophet in the desert. In the upper right corner is an image of Dextera Domini. The centerpiece is surrounded by twenty border scenes.
