Origin: From the Church of Our Lady of Smolensk in the village of Ust-Koloda (Kubovo), Pudozhsky district, the Republic of Karelia.

Dimensions: height 66,5 cm, width 49 cm
The Mother of God is portrayed in an almost frontal pose. The Child is depicted seated on Her left hand. The Child is represented in profile, turned to His Mother leading forward to Him; in His hands he holds a folded scroll.
