Iconographic school/art center: Constantinople.
Origin: From the Church of the Conception of the Holy Virgin of the Vysotsky Monastery in Serpukhov. The church had received the icons from Constantinople in the 1380s-1390s.
Material: Wood, tempera
Dimensions: height 149 cm, width 98 cm
The half-figure of the Apostle standing at the left facing Christ. His head is slightly inclined, with both hands he presses to his chest a gospel, with a red edge and golden-ochre cover decorated with assist.
