Date: XIV century. 1387–1395.
Iconographic school/art center: Constantinople.
Origin: From the Church of the Conception of the Holy Virgin of the Vysotsky Monastery in Serpukhov. The church had received the icons from Constantinople in the 1380s-1390s.
Material: Wood, tempera
Dimensions: height 149 cm, width 94 cm
The half-length figure of the Savior is represented in a slight turn. With his raised hand he seems to be blessing by pointing to an open gospel he holds up with his left hand.
