The Mother of God is portrayed seated on a high throne, holding Christ Emmanuel with both hands before her. The Infant’s hands are spread apart, he is blessing with the two-fingers sign. St. Theodosius (left) and St. Anthony (right) stand on either side of the throne. The saints are holding unfolded scrolls with the texts of lessons.
