Origin: From the Church of the Archangel Michael (1108-1113) of Mikhailovsky Zlatoverkhovsky monastery in Kiev.

A fresco. St. Nicholas is portrayed full-length, in an almost frontal pose, slightly turned to the right. He is blessing with his right hand and holds an open Gospel with his left. He is dressed in a blue robe, a white phelonion and a white omophorion with black crosses. From under the phelonion peeks out a light ochre club decorated with a red-brown floral ornamentation.
