The icon is a copy of the miracle-working icon brought to the Spaso-Preobrazhensky monastery from the Holy Mountain Athos. Our Lady holding the Divine Child with Her left hand is depicted waist-length.The Mother of God wears a crown. The right arm of the Divine Child is raised in a gesture of blessing, His left hand is holding a scroll.
