The icon belongs to a rarely encountered concise iconographic variant. The icon portrays the Mother of God with the Child looking like “sunk” into a bowl resting on a trapezoidal pedestal reminiscent of a crescent collar.
Deposited in the Museum in 1970. Restored in 1986 at the Grabar Restoration Center by N.A.Fedosova.
