Date: XVI century. The second quarter of the 16th c.

Origin: From the Church of Our Lady of Vladimir, Vologda.

Material: Wood, canvas, levkas, tempera

Dimensions:  height 151 cm, width 122 cm

In the left part of the icon is the Theotokos portrayed in a devotional pose. In her right hand she holds a scroll. Falling down before her feet in prayer are monks, kings (wearing a semispherical closed crown), prince (next to the king, uncovered), holy faces in white vestment and many laypersons. To the right is St. Peter, metropolitan of Moscow. In the right upper corner of the center is the segment of heaven with the figure of the blessing Christ inclined to His Mother.
