The icon belongs to the group of so-called icons Tenderness and the visiting of all those in trouble. The Holy Virgin, is shown standing on the crescent holding a rod, with the crown of the Heavenly Queen atop her head. Her figure is surrounded by floating clouds and cherubs hovering in golden shining. The upper part of the icons depicts the figures of the New Testament Trinity, the Sabaoth, Jesus Christ and the pigeon. In the lower part of the icon are the angels doing good to the afflicted for the sake of the Holy Virgin.
